Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne
Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne
🏴Parc de la Chartreuse – avenue Charles de Gaulle – 21200 Beaune
🕓 17th, 18th et 19th November
An innovative building that was inspired by the tendril of the vine which wraps itself around the trellising wire, the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne rises to 21 m high and offers a spectacular view of the vineyards of Beaune and surrounding area from the panoramic terrace.
Through its circular progression, the tendril form of the building also evokes the perpetual movement at work in the vineyard: the ever changing seasons, the growing cycle of the vine… that year after year repeats itself without ever producing the exact identical match of previous years.
Set off and discover all the riches and specificities of viticulture in Burgundy, marvel at the mosaic of landscapes and terroirs, the traditions passed down from generation to generation and the winemaking process…
Thanks to an educational journey enhanced and enriched with fun multimedia devices, immerse yourself into this vast burgundy vineyard shaped by man for 2000 years!
